One of the first major festivals of the year is ready to welcome it’s patrons with open arms this week, and in a big way.

The streets of New Orleans are already starting to fill in with crowds in anticipation of the impending party that is about to happen on Friday, but the festival itself isn’t the only reason why this event has become a crowd favorite over the years.

On top of offering an eclectic and diverse lineup that appeals to the masses, Buku touts itself as a much more immersive and interactive festival than most. After leaving the festival is when the party goes into high gear by offering after-parties at local venues with some of the festival’s biggest headliners.

This year, fans can get a chance to party with Skrillex at his reunion show with original band From First to Last presented by Emo Nite from LA, Slander and NGHTMRE are bringing their infamous GUD VIBRATIONS party and WAKAAN is bringing Liquid Stranger with heavy dub all-stars just to name a few.

On top of all the after events, the festival itself has pulled all the stops to make this it’s biggest and best installment thus far. With an all new stage added and an even bigger area for fans to party, this surely is going to be the event they’ve had to date.

As of last week, BUKU is 100% sold out, however hopeful attendees still have some luck to fall back on. The festival has teamed up with Fliptix as an official resale partner for tickets. Fliptix is an app you can use to get tickets to events for face-value, so you don’t have to worry about scalpers or illegitimate ticket sales. Simply download the app, type “BUKU” in the events, and you will be notified whenever tickets go on sale.

Ravers Choice is beyond excited to be on the scene and in full force starting this Thursday.
