The founders of Atlanta’s own Imagine Music Festival, Glenn and Madeline Goodhand, have teamed up with an Atlanta and Miami nightclub owner, Mahesh Harjani, to bring something big for the local Atlanta music scene- a brand new home for Iris Presents.

The two driving forces behind the growth of Imagine Music Festival into one of the regions largest camping EDM festivals are launching a fresh and exciting expansion of Atlanta’s growing live music market. This is big news for Atlanta’s music scene.

Located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta at the corner of Ralph David Abernathy Blvd. and Central Avenue, sits the large 15,000-square-foot Romanesque style church. This will be the new and permanent home to Iris Presents and their beloved ESP 101 [Learn To Believe] events, which will be called the Believe Music Hall. This iconic structure once housed the upscale restaurant/bar & lounge, Museum Bar, and before that it was a church that was hosted by Rev. Martin Luther King Sr.

The newly renovated Believe Music Hall will feature three event spaces with a mezzanine that will overlook the main stage area, an “underground” stage in the basement, private VIP rooms, two outdoor terraces, incredible light and laser production, and a massive Danley and Turbo sound rig. If you thought that was enough, there will also be a superfood restaurant included to top it all off.

Glenn Goodhand spoke with The AJC on his historical ties with the building that is his new home for Iris Presents. It served as one of the first venues in the beginning stages of Iris Presents ESP 101 [Learn To Believe] events. “It’s incredible how it all came full circle from when we first started some of our ESP 101 [Learn to Believe] events here more than 20 years ago,” Glenn Goodhand said. “First, we had to learn to believe, then we imagined, now we believe.”

Iris Presents will kick things off at Believe Music Hall on April 14th with the dupstep and trap producer/dj Crizzly headlining. Supporting local talent include Eddie Gold, Ployd, Teriyaki Noize, and Tech This Out Cru! For those groovy four-on-the-floor house lovers the Underground Stage at Believe Music Hall will feature Miami natives, Coco Drills, with local support from Alex Lucas and Vivid. This will be the start of something fresh and exciting for the Atlanta music scene, and it was certainly a long time coming. The first tier of pre-sale tickets have already sold out, so snag them now before it is too late! To purchase your tickets, visit the Iris Presents Eventbrite here.
