Kill the Noise and Botnek ended their 44-city fall tour in Atlanta and showed no signs of tiring. This tour stop featured Two Fresh, Botnek and Kill The Noise at the Masquerade in Atlanta. Botnek is an upcoming duo from Montreal that has made some waves lately playing at Tomorrowworld and even fixing that overplayed #selfie track by The Chainsmokers. Kill The Noise has been around since 2008 when his “Kill Kill Kill” album came out. He is now signed to OWSLA and has collabs with Skrillex. He really needs no introduction.

Two Fresh brought rap/trap elements to kick the show off. They exchange roles as hype men and DJs throughout the show which plays well in ATL. Botnek and Kill the Noise changed the vibe from Two Fresh significantly. Botnek brings the bass with more of a rock and roll energy and jumped into the crowd at one point. They spent plenty of time standing on the DJ table. The Grind house collab with Steve Aoki that has been around since Halloween made an appearance during the set and the crowd went wild . They mixed in a lot of rock including songs from Offspring, REM, Nirvana, White Stripes, Queen and Incubus. Kill The Noise’s set showed a level of polish that you would expect from someone in the scene so long. He looked relaxed maybe even confident. At one point in the set Kill the Noise announced to the crowd that they would know the next drop and then played a remix of Incubus’s “Drive.” Kill The Noise announced the some of the crowd chants would be featured on an upcoming song and ATL gave it their best. I look forward to hearing this upcoming release. I have seen Kill The Noise twice in Atlanta and his tours stand out as some of my favorite shows. Kill the Noise has an upcoming EP of original work planned so keep an eye out for that and don’t miss him if he is back in 2015.
