Sunset Music Festival has created a buzz in the Tampa Bay Area once again with another stout lineup delivery for the 2018 edition of the festival. Disco Donnie Presents and Sunset Events have teamed up with Heartbeat International to bring a jam-packed weekend for one of the regions most anticipated 2-day music festivals in sunny Tampa, Florida. The festival will take place on its usual dates of Memorial Day Weekend, May 26-27, with the backdrop of Tampa’s beloved Raymond-James Stadium.

The initial lineup announcement was originally released on March 27th, with a slew of talent that quickly received a lot of social interaction among Tampa Bay natives and the surrounding regions. Headliners included Marshmello, Excision, and The Chainsmokers. The festival will feature its signature three stage set up with the Sunset Stage for the main, and Horizon and Eclipse for the side stages. Some of the main acts for Eclipse and Horizon stages are Destructo, Atrak b2b YehMe2, Borgore, and Joyride, plus many more to boot.

This will be the sixth installment of the 2-day EDM festival occurring on Memorial Day Weekend. Sunset Music Festival has become a household name in the live music dance events for the state of Florida, and for most of the east coast as well. According to a Beacon report study, the festival has stimulated the local Tampa economy immensely in the past for the Memorial Day Weekend tourism to the Hillsborough and Pinellas county areas. More than 50,000 dance music fans have walked through the gates in recent years, and SMF should aim for similar numbers again.

Although the folks behind Sunset Music Festival have been able to deliver a top-tier lineup for several years, they were not able to deliver a 100% complete lineup this time around. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the festival was unable to announce a headliner who was originally on the bill, The Chainsmokers. Promotions manager, Alex Schamback, took to Facebook to apologize to SMF fans in a statement concerning the sudden change in the lineup.

The festival quickly made moves to add in two more names to the headliner spots to make up for having to cross the The Chainsmokers off of the lineup. Over the course of the past few days, SMF introduced headliners, Illenium and Rezz. While they are not as massive of a brand such as The Chainsmokers, this tweak to the lineup should be able to resonate positively with the Sunset festivalgoers.

Now that the full lineup is finally in place after that unexpected switch, the set times are ready to go as well. Below are the complete lineup and set times for the Memorial Day Weekend festivities at Raymond-James Stadium in Tampa.
